Riders of Icarus Frost Keep Heroic - Assassin-Solo
This is exactly what I do, including using a pet (Camara) to tank Rondo's first hits, which it actually survives. If you don't mind a critique on your play... you dodge too often and trigger exhaustion. Relax a little and feel the flow. Assuming you have Ringing Blows as a talent, smack down Danger Zone on packs and mop them up with Moonlight Edge. For solos (like archers), soften them with Dagger Rush or Chain Pull, followed by a Roundhouse to flip them around and expose their back to you as well as interrupt that annoying Ice Arrow attack so they can't cast it (just don't dodge first so you get the silence effect), and finish them with Killer's Cross. Also, practice at using Flash Cut and Dagger rush to get two shots in between dodges (through and back) and also place you behind the mob often for extra DPS. It will help you figure out the timing so you stop dashing around so much and get your stamina screwed by the exhaustion effect. I also note that you don't dash in and drop Danger Zone directly on the mob sometimes (such as on Balbora). That first hit does a lot of damage, don't miss out on it! It also helps to time some attacks so that when they're doing a casting animation you can dash through and slap down lots of back attacks. Just wait until most of the bar is full, dash straight through them or at a diagonal and unleash hell behind them for free DPS.
Use the shorter side dodges if you're trying to avoid pulling additional packs and stay within range of the group and the long forward dodge with chain pull or dagger rush to close the gap again when you're solo and/or got room to breathe. Even in group play this is valuable because dashes make a lot of our attacks do much more damage.
The way I learned how to avoid dashing so much is kinda cheesy, but it worked for me. Pretend that you're dancing with the mobs. It's almost exactly the same timing as a waltz, so hum a little tune in your head if it helps (dah, dah-dah, dah [dodge], repeat ad nauseam).
I should add that, while I don't know why this works, you can trigger Ankle Breaker at range. Sometimes I'll dash, Flash Cut, Thorn Kick, dash away and Ankle Breaker at range. It hits like a ranged attack with a melee motion... Huh? Oh well, it works and sets me up for another combo to dart in with since I'm already at range to use Dagger Rush/Chain Pull.
Riders of Icarus Tips on How to Prevent
Didn't know about hitting space bar during loading screens. Windowed mode is also awesome for looking up info on the Icarus Wiki when you need quick info, just alt tab and pull up your browser.
Riders of Icarus - Suggestion to taming
Taming should not be locked to first hit (because it can cause more problems rather than help the situation).
RIDERS OF ICARUS Open Beta Date and Founder's Pack Announced
Nexon America and WeMade today announced that they will launch open beta for Riders of Icarus on July 6th.
Riders of Icarus Class and Mount?
I found my self immersed on the selection of Mounts according to my class (wizard). The variety of mounts compared to the amount of classes in RoI is immense and this makes the selection really tough!
Riders of Icarus GUIDE Lv15
I would recommend dodging the Cut and saving Safeguard for the bombs if cooldown is an issue. Once you have access to them, you can also completely shut down the bombers with a good Hakain's Grasp > Sentinel Smash > Bonds of Law rota.
The Riders of Icarus got plenty of methods
Should you have two Dainoks, you can tame some Draku and seal them and give them to someone with Galadoku's mark recipe so they can craft you a mark
