Riders of Icarus Level Cap Intentionally Capped?
Is nexon intentionally keeping the level cap gated and increasing it only 10 per every other patch so we spend money/time on cash shop events/items that are introduced with the patch and +20ing level 25/35/45 stuff really?(spend elluns)
I've played the game on KR(and on the private server) and when playing it here I'm like WTH are we seriously Tempering level 25 gear? :O. I'm sure this is as much of a joke to other players who have played the full game as it is to me.
No one would bother tempering level 25 stuff (or 35 or 40) on other servers. Why when you can just level a bit more and be stronger than +25 tempered level 25 gear -_-. I mean the OP Karasha set isn't far from those levels which we get for free from the mainquest. IMO; The only worth tempering is at the very end with the Legendary Ellora set. It will still be worth it even if more levels are added whereas heroic 25/35/45 dungeon gear will always be outclassed easily with new patches/levels. Are we going to spend time farming 25/35/45 gear for a while and then ellun feeding it; alongwith spending some here and there on cash shop items/events as they arrive and then discarding our gear away every few weeks? I can see why Nexon chose to do it like this as they obviously make more profit here than giving us the whole game but isn't this going to get frustrating after a while?
Are we supposed to be ok with this? OK with expecting the newest ingame map to be spawn camped until the next big patch. Ok with wasting time/effort and money in maxing our (useless in the whole game's scheme) gear only to discard it soon? Is this going to be the focal point of the EU/NA servers?
Another issue this is creating is spawn camping:
Everyone is spawn camping the current latest map and everyone will spawn camp Parna's Coast. You farm for recipes and marks but now you have to fight spawn camping guilds too?(And obviously botters and griefers)
This doesn't happen on other servers because everyone is spread out and all the cool familiars are in level 40+ areas(See for yourself) you would never find people camping Agnas or Garme which are meh compared to other heroics/legendaries but that's the only content we have currently and I can't blame the players. Even I am kinda forced into taming them when I have never in the slightest wanted them on other servers.
PS: Attached My favorite Heroic ingame to take out guildies on a daily dungeons farm .I would roleplay picking them up and taxing them to the dungeons. Max 6 people can ride on this. Miss him here.
Riders of Icarus - People have different ways of playing
The bestiary have sent so many to the wrong location because it is literally sending players to the wrong location. Some familiars are literally on the opposite side of the zone of where the bestiary hinted towards.
Riders of Icarus Updates
Riders of Icarus, the mount-happy MMO that we've covered quite a bit on AusGaemrs is also getting an update in the form of Ranger’s Fury which introduces a new archer-class, increased level cap, and new region to explore. So, basically an expansion. Which, is always welcome.
About Riders of Icarus Gold sellers
I don't think Icarus gold buyers are the actual root of the problem. Besides, banning them aswell would make this whole story become even more complicated (in terms of finding them, scouring the transactions, looking through the logs).
Riders of Icarus level 15 Problems
Tho the taming system is pretty much RNG based and don't require that much skill and gear than in Dragon's Prophet, which is a shame, since getting marks is a lot of work and you can be pretty much screwed by RNGesus in the face, if you're unlucky.
Riders of Icarus Legendary Riders Pack Giveaway Contest
Riders of Icarus is set to launch into open beta on July 6, 2016.
A idea for a Riders of Icarus Guild Bank
I believe they banned guild members for receiving large amounts of Icarus gold in mails, which is completely similar to how roi gold bots sell their Riders of Icarus Gold.
